Julie Waldner

Enticed by founder Phyllis Bell to participate in the Harvey Dunn Paintout years ago, Julie has returned annually and now sits on the Board. Her artist viewpoint is greatly appreciated.

Julie was raised in the Howard, SD region in a farming community and notes on her FB site that she studied art at the School of Hard Knocks, University of Life. She now resides in Iroquois and has her own studio, Dakota Reflections Art Studio (FB).

She describes herself as a South Dakota artist, born and raised here, loves the plein air and what it has taught her and hopes to continue to gain more insight from the art form.
